Christopher Blake Patten

Christopher Blake Patten, 21, was born on January 16, 1998 in Arlington, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2019. He was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 6 years old and also struggled with mental health issues. He loved being outdoors and was the biggest Saints fan. He loved his family dearly. Christopher led a busy life but always stopped to let others know he cared. He lived life on his terms. We can rest easy knowing he is in a better place and has found the peace he has needed. He will be forever in our hearts and will be missed by all. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Wallace. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Don and Melinda Keene; sisters, Sabrina and Tiffany; brothers, Ray and C.J.; cousin, Austin; grandmother, Sandra Mack; great-grandmother, Helen Wallace; and numerous extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The family would like to give a special thanks to the support given by all those in his life. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
