Funeral service for Christine Elizabeth Whittington will begin at 11:00am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Marksville. Burial will follow at the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery. Christine Whittington, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her home in Marksville. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cresmon Whittington of Alexandria, Kennade Whittington of Marksville, and Payton Whittington of Marksville; sisters, Vinet Keno of New Orleans; Keila Whittington of Hollidaysburg, PA; brother, Fr. Paul Whittington, O.P. of Chicago, IL.; a special niece, Brittany Shockley of Lafayette; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Whittington, Sr. & Nola Small Whittington; brother, Charles Whittington, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Theresa & Horace Ford and Otis & Jackie Small; paternal grandparents, Dupre & Essie Whittington. A visitation will begin at 8:30am until 10:15am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville. Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville have been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
