Christine Rose Martin

Graveside service celebrating the life of Christine Rose Martin, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, Louisiana with Shawn Thrapp officiating.

Christine was born on March 25, 1939, in San Augustine, Texas to Earl Buell and Viola Bennefield Buell and passed away February 28, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Gerald Martin, son, Royce Allen Holleman; daughters, Anita Pechamcek, and Susan Searcy; brothers, Johnny Lee King and John Danial King.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Peggy Thomas, Jeanette Smith, Michelle Rocha (Nick), Tiffany Carnes (Teddy), Marcie Olalde (Martin) and brother and sister-in-law, David and Jan Martin with a host of grand and great grandchildren.
