A funeral service for Chasity Grissom, 35, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial to follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Raney Johnson.
Chasity was born August 31, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska to Luther E. Grissom and Althea M. Grissom and passed away on February 20, 2022 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Chasity graduated from Parkway High School and went on to be a Dental Hygienist and Mixologist. She cared for her great-nieces and nephews and her best friend's children. One of her passions was to own her own business. Chasity was warm hearted, kind, sweet, very outgoing, strong willed and very lovable. She enjoyed music, loved to serve others and is going to be greatly missed by all.
Chasity is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ural Grissom, Sr., Paul Johnson, Loyola Johnson; aunt, Ann Richardson; uncle, Kenneth P. Johnson. She is survived by her parents; siblings, Machelle Manning and husband, Kahlil, Alicia Grissom, Donta Sampson, John Young, Teneshia Grissom; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
