Charlsie DePingre

Charlsie Ford DePingre, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Charlsie was born on February 9, 1939 in Sardis, Louisiana to Cecil and Bessie Ford. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Timothy Carscadden. Charlsie worked for the United States Postal Service close to 30 years. She had a rural mail route that she thoroughly enjoyed where she made many friends along the way. She was an avid reader, loved gardening where she could easily grow plants, and enjoyed canning. Charlsie is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William DePingre. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Amanda Lambert, Aimee Massey and husband, Scott, Paul DePingre and wife, Regina, and David DePingre; five grandchildren, Phillip Massey, Paxton DePingre, Margaret DePingre, Walker DePingre, and Victoria DePingre; and three great-grandchildren, Lily Massey, Kingston Massey, and Harvey Massey; brother, Charlie Ford and wife, Linda; and sisters, Evelyn Smith and Cecile King; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
