Funeral services celebrating the life of Charlotte Ann Smith, age 74 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Delbert Terry officiating. Interment will be in Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Charlotte was born at Barksdale AFB, LA on September 15, 1951, to Frankie J. Stevens and Ola Mae Cross Stevens and went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2026, in Vivian, LA.
She was a longtime member of the Blanchard Church of The Nazarene, was an LSU and New Orleans Saints football fanatic. Charlotte was always helping out others but above all she loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with those she loved.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Stevens, Sr. and her beloved fur baby, Blondie.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joe Smith, Jr. and wife Leslie, Matt Smith and Frankie Smith and wife, Brandi; sister, Debra Stevens and brother, Frankie J. Smith. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hailey Freeland and husband, Justin, Cassidy Nugent and husband, Shawn, Mallorie Smith, Madison Smith, Brock Murphy, Gauge Smith, Melanie Leone, William Leone, Meredith McCallister, Izabella Harvey, Joey Smith, Kaylynn Smith and Jillian Smith; one great granddaughter, Audrey Grace Nugent and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Honoring Charlotte as pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Jr., Matt Smith, Frankie Smith, Brock Murphy, Joey Smith, Shawn Nugent and Bubba Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Joe Stevens, Jr.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Vivian Healthcare for their love and compassion they gave to Charlotte.
