A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Old Pisgah Baptist Church in Marthaville, Louisiana honoring the life of Charlot Lindsey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Roland George. Interment will follow the service in the Old Pisgah Cemetery.
Charlot was born on May 28, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Surrounded by her loved ones, she entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2021 at her home in Belmont, Louisiana.
Charlot was preceded in death by her parents, Trelia and Marie Singletary; husband, Donald Lindsey; and sister, Carolyn Singletary. She is survived by her daughters, Shaquila Patrick of Pleasant Hill and Ashlye Lindsey of Shreveport; sister, Christie Sepulvado and husband Milton of Flatwoods; brother, Jerry Berry and wife Rosemary of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, MaKenzi Patrick, HarLeigh Callens, Cullen Patrick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
With sincere gratitude, the family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her wonderful neighbors, Perry and Patsy Sattler, Hannah and Kacey of Natchitoches Hospice, and her "Third Daughter" Justina Terrell for the sympathy, love, and support that they extended to our family during our time of loss.
Honoring Charlot as pallbearers will be Richard Wyatt, Archie McElwee, Frankie Bass, Jerry Tatum, Perry Sattler, and Billy Wayne Peacock.
