Funeral services for Charlie W. (Dub) Salley, 93, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, 3417 Hwy 481, Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026. A burial will follow the service at Pollard Cemetery on Hwy 481, Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Freddie Williford assisted by Brother Mike Welch and Brother Mike Armstrong.

C.W. was born on December 2, 1932 to Charlie Eugene Salley and Loda Aylean Coker Salley in Converse, Louisiana and passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026 surrounded by his family after battling a lengthy illness.

C.W. married the love of his life, Mary Louise English, on March 27, 1953 and was drafted into the United States Army that very same year. He attended classes in Washington D.C. He was ordained as a Deacon on January 21, 1979. He was a union president at Nabors Trailers. He served as master of the Masonic Lodge Pelican #318. He held multiple careers throughout his life including Army, local cattle auction barns, laundry service, home milk deliverer, Nabors Trailers foreman, Hand Construction – Safety, Dolet Hill Legnite Mine, South DeSoto Water System and South DeSoto Water System operator.

C.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Loda Salley; son, Ricky Wayne Salley; brothers, Neutria Salley and Jimmie “Bo” Maurice Salley; great-granddaughter, Faithlynn Hope Renfro; and his father and mother-in law, Clayton English and Mable Agnes Whitlock English.

C.W. is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Louise English Salley; son, Ronnie Lynn Salley and wife Tina; grandchildren, Joshua Lynn Salley and wife, Jessica, Joseph Todd Salley, and Hannah Salley Renfro; great-granddaughters, Addison Lynn Salley, Aliza Jane Salley, Adalida Grace Salley, and Gracelynn Sheree Renfro; a special CNA friend, Diana Sepulvado; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Honoring C.W. as pallbearers will be the members of the Mansfield Masonic Lodge #250.

Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
