Charles Cloyes Stanley

Graveside services celebrating the life of Charles Cloyes Stanley, age 82 of Vivian, LA will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Kent Craft of the Assembly of God Church, Queen City, TX. There will be a time of visitation on Monday, July 5th from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Charles was born March 21, 1939 in Shreveport, LA to his parents, Marvin Cloyes Stanley and Charlie Charlene Alexander Stanley and passed away on July 2, 2021 at the PAM Specialty Hospital of Shreveport North. He was an honorary member of the Queen City Assembly of God Church, retired member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 141 as a welder and a member of the Masonic Lodge #314. Mr. Charles loved to deer and duck hunt and to fish. Mr. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald Stanley and sister, Charlotte Baugh. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years, Barbara Beckham Stanley; his children, Ricky and Janet Stanley, Susan and Jimmy Barr, Timmy and Wanda Stanley, Tommy and Frankie Stanley, LoAnn and Tim Dodge, and Debbie Woodell. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, sisters, Glenda Faye Henley, Gwen Dykes and a host of other family and friends. Honoring Mr. Charles as pallbearers will be David Stanley, Butch Barr, Ryan Stanley, Chris Stanley, Dusty Dodge and Daniel Woodell. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Stanley, Brian Stanley, Steven Barr, Baron Barr, Matthew Stanley and Tyler Stanley. Condolences may be made at rose-neath.com
