Minden, LA Funeral services for Charles Edwin Shockley, Jr. will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, Louisiana. The family will receive friends form 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Charles was born April 17, 1949 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest July 8, 2019 in New Iberia, Louisiana. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Shockley Kirby and sister, Rita Shockley both of Minden, children, Kerry Shockley Solar and husband Ricky of Lydia, Rebecca S. Hebert and husband Carl of Arnaudville, and Keith Shockley and wife Suzy of New Orleans, grandchildren, Bobby Bourque, Eddie Bourque, Blake Shockley, Sadie Landry, Andrew Hebert, Tyler Mire, and Samantha Hebert, and great-grandchildren, Brody, Maddox, Heidi, Noah, Levi, Cullen, Caiden, Zoey, Chloe, Cason, Breeann, Carlie, Logan, Kylie, and Shane, aunt, Doris Olivier and her children, Renee and Denis, nephews, John Hicks and Scotty Shockley and niece, Angie Hicks.
