Charles Edward Piercy

A graveside service celebrating the life of Charles Edward Piercy, 59, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Road, Bernice, Union, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Randy Dark.

Charles was born on September 28, 1963, in Baltimore, Maryland to Anthony B. Piercy and Shirley B. Haas Piercy, and passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. He took pride in raising his daughter and girls through the years. He would take them hunting and he would be at every sporting event of theirs. His most prized possession was his grandbabies. He lived and breathed for them and would do anything for them. Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who is going to be missed greatly.   

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Anne Marie Piercy; and granddaughter, Braelynn White. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Betsy Elizabeth Piercy, and Hannah Alexandra Reeves; grandchildren, Claire Reeves, and Kayson White.

The family would like to thank the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the care and compassion shown to Charles during his time there.
