Charles Neco

A celebration of life for Charles Neco will be held on at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at First Congregational Baptist Church located at 215 Legion Drive in Marksville.

Charles Neco, age 58, of Marksville, entered into rest on November 24, 2023. He was born in Pineville, Louisiana, to Oswald, Sr. and Harriet Neco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oswald, Sr. and Harriet Neco; two brothers, James Neco and Oswald Neco, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories are his former spouse, Tara Bordelon-Neco of Thibodoux, two daughters; Marissa and Mackenzie Neco of Thibodoux, four sisters; Florence Neco of Marksville, Natalie Neco of Marksville, Carol Neco of Marksville and Melissa Neco-Thomas (Mike) of Shreveport, two brothers; Jene Neco of Hessmer and Robert Neco of Austin, Texas; two Aunts, Dorothy Brooks and Pauline Barton of Marksville, two uncles; Charles Brooks and Benny Barton of Marksville, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on December 9, 2023, at First Congregational Baptist Church, lasting until time of service. Burial will follow at First Congregational Baptist Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will include Michael Dorsey, George McKay Keller, Sylvan Dorsey, Jerome Word, Chris Word, Cardell Neco, Kevin Barton, Overton Jones, Randy Lee, Patrick Gonzales, Bobby Perry, Rodney McGlory and Darrel Harris.

Honorary Pallbearers will include Jene Neco and Robert Neco.
