Charles Koehler

Charles “Bobby” W. Koehler III, of Doyline, Louisiana, passed away at his home on October 2, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on May 20, 1947, in Sioux City, Iowa, he was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era.

Bobby retired from Davison Transportation after 15 years of service and later worked in various trucking jobs. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and will be remembered for his love of family and his devoted dog, Molly, who never went hungry around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma Koehler, and his sister, Ann Liner.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Vicki Koehler of Doyline, Louisiana; daughter, Leah Koehler of Bossier City, Louisiana; sons, Waylon Koehler of Texarkana, Texas, and Chase Koehler of Doyline, Louisiana; grandsons, Nicholas Koehler of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Dylan and Dalton Koehler of Texarkana, Texas; step grandchildren, Noah and Josie Veal of Texarkana, Texas; and sisters, Susie Williams of Cedar Park, Texas, and Kathy Miller of Minden, Louisiana.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Rick Wolfe.
