Charles Robert Geer

Charles “Robbie” Geer, 62, was born on November 12, 1962, to Joseph and Hattie Geer in Bossier City, Louisiana, and passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Charles was a loving and caring man who never met a stranger. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, no matter where he went. He enjoyed working on cars and was a proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with heart and loyalty.

He spent years working for Albertsons Liquor Department and then for Republic Distributing, where he was known for his hard work and friendly nature.

Charles will be remembered for his strength he had and always persevering, but mostly for being the world’s best Old Man and making those around him know how loved they truly were.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hattie Geer, and his brother, David Geer. He is survived by his sons, Kyle Geer and Jacob Ezell, and wife, Chelsey; daughter, Shelby Gerretse; grandchildren, Natalie, Derek, and Hayden; brothers, Mike Kilgore, Ronnie Kilgore, and wife, Linda, and Wayne Geer and wife, Angela.
