Charles David Williford

Funeral services for Charles David Williford, 90, will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Willis Martin of Grace Family Worship Center. Charles was born on March 9, 1931 to David Howard Williford and Bessie Bell Williford in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Shreveport. Charles was a resident of Shreveport and a supervisor for Riley-Beaird, Inc. before retiring. He graduated from Byrd High School and LSUS. He was a Mason and served at one point as Master of the Lodge. His favorite pastime was playing golf. He also enjoyed the excitement of shopping garage sales to find a treasure at a good price. He loved to go out to eat for fun, but top of his list was spending time with his precious family. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Barbara Ann "Patsy" Williford, and his best buddy, his dog, Dexter. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cathy Ann Ezernack and husband, Gary and Cindy Sanders and husband, Paris; grandchildren, Emily Hall and husband, Derek, Ashley and Keith Sanders and Misty Sanders; great-grandchildren, Carson and Levi Hall, Maddi and Nathaniel Sanders, Marty and Sheralynn; sister, Elizabeth Woods and husband, Billy; and special friend, Shirley Brown. Honoring Charles as pallbearers are Keith Sanders, Jeremy Wells, Derek Hall, Nathaniel Sanders, Robert Hall and Ashley Sanders. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Paris Sanders and Gary Ezernack.
