Charles "Cuz" Michael Cowdin

Graveside service celebrating the life of  Charles "Cuz" Michael Cowdin, 67, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2026 at Woodsprings Cemetery with Bro. Tommy McMellon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the RB #4 Event Center in Logansport, Louisiana.

Charles Michael Cowdin was born on February 24, 1959 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Charles Hewitt Cowdin and Shawnee Raye Bell Cowdin, and passed away on October 17, 2026 in Grand Cane, Louisiana.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cowdin.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shawnee Cowdin; wife, Tonya Alger Cowdin, son, Mark Cowdin and wife Jentry; daughter, Jessica Cowdin Jaimes and husband Rojelio “Jr”; grandchildren, Bella Jaimes, Brixlee Jaimes, Jeb Cowdin, and Barrett Jaimes; brother Donald Cowdin.

Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Paul Richardson, Dylan Dickson, Robby Register, Dustin Cowdin, BoBo Cummings, Bryan Hartley, and Humberto Espinoza.

The family would like to give a special thanks to April Griffin for the donation of her kidney; The Cattlemen of DeSoto Parish, and The Nacogdoches Livestock Exchange.
