Grand Cane, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Mr. Charles Hewitt Cowdin, 80, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Wood Springs Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA with Bro. Tommy McMellon officiating. Charles was born August 25, 1938 in Mansfield, LA to Charles Edwin and Gladys Cowdin and entered into rest on March 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Eugene Park Cowdin and Dr. Joe Cowdin. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Shawnee Cowdin of Grand Cane, LA; sons, Charles Michael Cowdin and wife, Tonya of Grand Cane, LA, Donald Edwin Cowdin of Shreveport, LA; sister, Virginia Irene Wanamaker and husband, Keith of Grand Cane, LA; grandchildren, Jessica Jaimes and husband, Roger and Mark Cowdin and wife, Jentry all of Grand Cane, LA; and great grandchild, Bella Jaimes also of Grand Cane, LA.
