Celester Mae Meek

Shreveport, LA - Graveside services for Celester Mae Meek, age 65 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 at Clear Springs Cemetery in Martin, LA with Buster Page officiating.

Ms. Meek was born in Shreveport, LA on September 1, 1951 to David Robert Youngblood and Eula Mae Etheridge Youngblood and passed away on November 4, 2016 at her residence. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Meek was preceded in death by her parents, David Robert and Eula Youngblood and her brother, David Youngblood. She is survived by her former husband, John W. Meek of Bossier City, LA; sons, Robert Fourd and wife Jennifer of Marshall, TX, Marcus Meek and wife, Kimberly of Haughton, LA, and Matthew Meek and wife, Heather of Ruston, LA; daughter, Blythe Heather Meek of Greenwood, LA.. Ms. Meek is also survived by her sisters, Linda Bower of Waskom, TX, Martha Reid of Jonesboro, LA, Sandra Jordan and husband, Gary of Bethany, LA and Cathy Goodwill and husband, Jack o9f Belcher, LA; 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
