Cathy Neil

Cathy Permenter Neil, 60, of Grand Cane, Louisiana went to meet her Lord and Savior August 29, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on September 7, 1960, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Bud and Carolyn Permenter. Cathy's love of life was all wrapped up in her family, especially her 3 grandsons, Trace, Conner and Reid. You could not be around her without laughing, her smile was contagious. Her main goal in life was to make sure everyone was taken care of and happy. She was a wonderful wife, a wonderful mother, a wonderful granny, a wonderful sister and a loving friend. The hearts of her family will miss her until we see her again. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Carolyn Permenter, and her husband, Michael C. Neil. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brittani Neil, and Lacey Neil Anthony and husband Thomas; her grandsons, Trace Carter, Conner and Reid Anthony; her brother, Dave Permenter and wife Tammy; her sisters, Vicky Yeglic and husband Lenny, Chris Plymale and husband Steve. Also left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, Rickye Welton and wife Amy with sons Garrett and Gage; Misty Yeglic with daughters, Mackenzie, Madison and son Matthew, Ashley Permenter and son Ashton, Cole Plymale, Reagan Plymale Hall and husband Pharris. Services for Cathy and Mike Neil will be held early next week for family and close friends.
