Catherine Elaine Gentry

Catherine Gentry, 85, of Many, Louisiana passed away in her home on November 26, 2025 after a rapid battle with cancer. Funeral services for Catherine will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana. A burial will follow at Pilgram’s Rest Cemetery, 945 Sportsman Paradise, Many, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Brother Wayne Chance and Brother Bo Owens.

Catherine was born on January 21, 1940 to Harry Julian Walker and Willie Geneva Tibbet in Many, Louisiana.

Catherine had many talents such as a carpenter, painter, artist, chef, baker, gardener, and seamstress. She was also a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. For the past few years, she donated her time and cooking talents to the First Baptist Church in Many on Wednesday nights. Her greatest gift was cooking for the people she loved.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Willie Walker and her brother, Kennieth Walker. She is survived by her husband, G.W. “Dub” Gentry of Many, Louisiana; daughters, Robin Wolf of Many, Louisiana and Paula Leach and husband, Dennis, of Many, Louisiana; son, Chris Gentry and wife, Kim, of Many, Louisiana; brothers, Gene Walker and wife, Cecelia, of Noble, Louisiana and Rodney Walker and wife, Joyce, of Benton, Louisiana; grandchildren, Hope Wolf, Elena Wolf Rohn, Nicholas Leach, Jonathan Leach, and A.J. Gentry; and great-grandchildren, Cole Leach, Gentry Leach, Saige Leach, Mason Leach, Aidan Leach, Cruz Gentry, Cambee Gentry, Axel Cruickshank, Liam Rohn, and Noah Rohn.

Honoring Catherine as pallbearers will be Nicholas Leach, Jonathan Leach, A.J. Gentry, Cole Leach, Dan Rohn, and Anthony Williams.

Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
