Funeral services for Carsyn Armani Rayne Murphy will be held Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Athens, Louisiana with Pastor Trey Waller officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Carsyn was born September 16, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana and arrived at her heavenly home in the arms of Jesus, September 16, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Nick Irby.

She is survived by her mother, Carlee Nation, father, Maurico Murphy, maternal grandparents, Allen Todd Nation, Patrice Maddox, and Tommi Irby, maternal great-grandmother, Margie Stovall, uncles Caston Nation, Hunter Maddox, and Levi Rayner, and aunt, Madalyin Irby.
