Carolynn Lonis Morris

A memorial service for Carolynn Lonis Morris, 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at First Christian Church, 2205 Shed Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Laura Demann.

Carolynn was born on June 24, 1950 in Lemesa, Texas to Archie and Mary Lonis and passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She was devoted to her church and her family. She enjoyed volunteering her time to help others, to travel and her fur babies. She was a proud resident of Louisiana. She loved music and to sing (off key). She was silly, genuine and faithful.

There are no words that can be written in an obituary to capture the true “life” of someone we have loved and cherished for a lifetime. No amount of space on a piece of paper can name all the people that Carolynn has been part of – her extended family and friends that were part of her daily life. We have all been blessed by her and to have known her – we walked with an angel on earth.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Archie Lonis. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Lloyd Morris and wife, Tiffany, Scott Morris and wife, Tamara and Larry Morris and wife, Allie; grandsons, Dylan, Wyatt, Cameron, Chase and wife, Kaitlin and the love of her life, LeeAnn Lawson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Donate.NAMI.org (National Alliance of Mental Illness of Louisiana).
