Carolyn M. Meshell

Carolyn Marie (Ross)Meshell, 92, passed away peacefully at The Guest House in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 14, 2021 after a lengthy battle with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of her memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana Carolyn was born on May 12, 1929, in Zwolle, Louisiana to Carl E. Ross and Irene (Kenne) Ross. She is preceded by her parents, Carl and Irene Ross; husband, Garvis M. Meshell; daughter, Virginia Gatti; brother, Glen E. Ross; and great grandson, Jacob A. Meshell. She is survived by her son, Carl M. Meshell and wife Debra of Stonewall, LA; sister, Mary Chamberlin of Dallas, TX; niece, Carla Whipple of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Ramanda Meshell, Jacquelyn Meshell, Chris Gatti, Richard Gatti, and Carolyn Gatti Nichols; twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
