Carolyn Odean-Moreau Cooper

Carolyn Odean-Moreau Cooper, age 78, of Moreauville, Louisiana, passed away on July 7, 2025 in her home with her beloved daughter, Sandy Cepriano, by her side.

Carolyn was born on August 16, 1946 in Simmesport, Louisiana, to Wilson and Pearl Moreau.

Mrs. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Acy Cooper, Sr.; mother, Pearl Reed-Moreau; father, Wilson Joseph Moreau; sister, Eunice Luellen; son, Salvador Joseph Cepriano, Sr; and great grandchildren, Sariyah James and Salvador Joseph Cepriano III.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ray Anthony Cepriano of Venice; daughter, Sandy Cepriano of Moreauville; sister, Bobbie Moreau and great niece Cassidy Cheramie of Mansura; brother, Donnie Moreau (Diane) of Simmesport; Roxanna Cepriano along with twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren: Monique Gartouchies and daughter Heaven Gartouchies; Jason Brown and son Jase Brown; Salvador Joseph Cepriano II (Alison) and children, Sebastian and Siobhan Cepriano; Phillip Cepriano and children, Delylah, Dahliana Cepriano and Evie Cepriano; Jenna and John Phillippe and children, Janae and John Phillippe; Ryan and Acell Cepriano and children, Isabella and Isidro Cepriano; Neha Patillo (Joshua) and child, Zakariya Patillo; Daniel “Boss” Crosby; Olivia “Tee Tee” Cepriano; Victorija(Sampson James) Cepriano and child, Sailah James; John Michael Fisher; Rachel Lubag and children, Layla and Rylan Williamson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 14, 2025 in the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville located at 334 Acton Road; officiated by Pastor Murl Tyler and Pastor Danny Hargrove. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery No. Two.

A visitation will be held the morning of the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. and lasting until 12:00 p.m.
