Carolyn Hope Brasell

Funeral service celebrating the life of Carolyn Hope Brasell will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Leland Crawford officiating. Graveside service will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, Louisiana at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Carolyn was born February 25, 1942, in Alexandria, Louisiana and went to her heavenly home August 20, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana. Carolyn was an active member of First Baptist Church in Minden, and she taught piano lessons for 67 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Lamar Brasell.

She is survived by her daughters, Kaila Michelle Brasell Spalding and husband Mark of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, and Jocelyn Lamara Brasell Watson and husband Andy of Frisco, Texas, and son, Jonathan Lee Brasell and wife Eli of Hot Springs, Arkansas, sisters, Zelma Lenore Broussard of Many, and Faith Broussard Wilkes of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and grandchildren, Camryn Grace Spalding, Landon James Emory, Cameron Hope Emory, Houston Wade Watson, Andrew Paul Watson, and Motley Elias Brasell, and many nieces and nephews.
