Carol Bennett Simmons

A memorial service celebrating the life of Carol Suzanne Bennett Simmons,63, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Carol entered into rest on August 10, 2022, in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on June 12, 1959, in Chicago, IL. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Carol was a respiratory therapist for more than 40 years. She worked on the front lines in the hospital from the start of the Covid pandemic up until a few months before her death.

Preceding Carol in death is her mother, Maxine Bennett. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Hilary Smith; her son, Thomas Nester; grandchildren, Tristin Nester, Ivee Nester, Jack Smith, and Gage Smith; and great-grandchildren, Ava Marie Mckinney, Kashious James Mckinney, and Dakota Matthew Little.
