Carol Trexler Harvill

On Sept. 15, 2025, family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of beloved spouse, mother, granny and caregiver Carol Trexler Harvill. Carol was On born March 25, 1967, in Barksdale AFB and joined the Lord on August 25, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.

Those who knew Carol best remember her as loving caregiver of her children, grandchildren, siblings, grandparents and in-laws. She was an ACE granny who loved cheer competitions with her granddaughter Saige Craig, the baseball and basketball games with grandson RyLee Harvill and her “baby days” with granddaughter Lainie Schildroth and twin granddaughters Dani and Stevie Harvill. In addition to the grandchildren, Carol leaves behind three children, daughter Christie Harvill Craig, son Jeremy Harvill and wife Brooke, son Bobby Harvill and husband Cody. Two brothers David Trexler and partner Laura and Richard Trexler, two sisters Donna Payne and husband Scot and Dana Perez and husband Phillip, aunts Dell Elmore and husband Don, Cindy Earley and Carolyn Montanez and Carol’s partner and best friend of 25 years Stephen Smiddy.

Carol was an amazing mother, granny and friend who could not have been more proud of her children and grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed.

She is preceded in death her parents, Donald and Frances Montanez, sister Tina, brother Johnny and nephew Daniel.
