Carol Dorsey

Carol Dorsey of Bossier City, LA, age 83, passed away February 12, 2019 in Haughton following a courageous fight with ovarian cancer. She also battled Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years. Carol was born in Appleton, WI and graduated from Hortonville High School. She retired from Ogilivie Hardware and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. A mass will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. The family requests your presence in a celebration of her life at Noble and Mary Price's home following interment at Rose-Neath Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dorsey; her parents, Henry and Theresa Lamers; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Leo Gerrits; brother, James and one great-grandson. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary and Noble Price, Tom and Debber Dorsey, Crissie and John Wade; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Noble Price, John Wade, Daniel Dorsey, Jeff Wade, Jason Wade, and Kris McCreery. The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Pressly for his many years of compassionate care and also Christus Hospice for their care and support during her final illness.   Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or to Holy Angels.
