Funeral services for Carol Lou Bordeaux, 76, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with her nephew, Rev. Bret A. Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
Carol was born December 24, 1941 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2018. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, woodworking, and painting. She loved the outdoors, her deer, and her bluebirds. One of her favorite past times was walking on the beach, picking up seashells. She had a strong Christian faith and loved her Heavenly Father and had a deep love for her children and her country.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillian King; husband, Ronald E. Bordeaux; daughter, Tammy Renee; and brother, Henry R. King, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lance R. Bordeaux and wife Sarah; daughter, Rhonda Bordeaux Draper and husband Billy; grandchildren, Megan E. Garcia, Zakk C. Bordeaux, Madison Draper, Alyssa Bordeaux, Kamberlee Butterworth, and Wyatt Hood; great-grandson, Keaton Bryant; and sister, Carolyn K. Hicks and husband Jerry.
Pallbearers will be Lance Bordeaux, Zakk Bordeaux, T.J. Anderson, Donovan Ducote, Chad Hanson, Danny Whiddon, Juan Garcia, Chase Sojka, and Jim Draper. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Draper and Michael Bachman.
