Carmen "Gail" Tuggle

Carmen “Gail” Tuggle of Minden, Louisiana entered into rest with her Heavenly Father on 12/14/2025. She was born in Chireno, Texas and moved to Minden as a young girl.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lillie and Lester Gamble; one sister, Connie Tinsley; and four brothers, Carroll Gamble, Donald Gamble, James Gamble, and Jerry Gamble.

She is survived by her husband, Aubyn Kit “Sonny” Tuggle and two daughters; Lisa Price (Dennis) of Ruston and Tosha Cagle (Neil) of West Monroe; her grandchildren; Heather Reilly, Steven Reilly, and Ashton Reilly all of West Monroe; Shane Price of Eros; and Kailey Price of Shreveport.

Gail and Sonny met on the school bus as teenagers. Sonny made the boy that was sitting on the seat next to him move so that he could offer Gail the seat. He decided that very day that he would save her a seat from that day on. The rest is history and they were married for over sixty years.

Gail loved little children and spent many years as a child care provider in her home. She loved what she did everyday and prided herself in keeping all the babies clean and safe. She kept up with the children as they grew up and entered school. Miss Gail, as she was lovingly called, was very proud of the adults they became.

Visitation will be held at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana on December 19, 2025 from 4 PM until 7PM. A graveside service at Holly Springs Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Tuggle’s family would like to thank the phenomenal staff from Passages Hospice for the wonderful care of our wife, Mama, and Nana.
