Carlene was born on February 22, 1930, in Allen, Oklahoma, to Carlton and Evelyn Smyer. She entered into rest on June 22, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Gene Little; her parents; and her sister, Colynn Butler.

With boundless love for her faith and family, and the joy she shared with close friends, she relished traveling near and far, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing Bridge, donating to charities, sewing, and a host of other activities; she truly had an outsized zest for living.

She is survived by their children: Dale Little (Patty), Norman Little, Todd Little; and grandchildren: Marcia Christie (Ryan), Shelby Ingram (Ben), and Ashley Friery (Patty).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
