Funeral services for Carl Jason Johnson, 47, will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Heath Peloquin of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Carl was born on November 16, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed away August 26, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Carl is preceded in death by his foster parents, Jim and Wanda Long. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Carroll and Vaughn Johnson and daughter, Adyson Womack and husband, Tyler; former spouse, Rebecca Johnson; his "Pops", William Wilson and wife, Linda; brothers, Billy Wilson and wife, Miacarla and Vaughn Wilson and sisters, Ami Johnson, Melissa Perry, Tabatha Wilson and Shannon Wilson. Honoring Carl as pallbearers will be Tyler Womack, Kevin Carroll, Vaughn Johnson, Tracey Maurice, Trey Weferling and Lee Muse. Serving as honoring pallbearers will be Vaughn Wilson and Billy Wilson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Summer Grove Baptist Church, 8924 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA 71118.
