Funeral services for Carl D. Ferguson Jr. will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Officiating will be Brother John Newman. Interment will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport, LA with military honors. Carl was born on January 2, 1925 to Zettie Felkins Ferguson and Carl D. Ferguson Sr. in Shreveport, LA and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 5, 2017. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 30 years, Mary Ferguson; grandson, Roger Ferguson Jr.; great grandson, Trea Bearden; sons, George Ferguson and Roger Ferguson Sr. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 38 years, Shirley Gail Ferguson; sons, James Ferguson, Steve Ferguson, David Ferguson (Amanda); daughter, Nanette Kemmerly (Merle); Robert Perkins (Step son) and Danny Perkins (Step son); grandchildren; Barbara Bearden, Wanda Moore, Jerald Wallace, Carolyn Gorhing, Brandy Munn, Scarlett Hudgins, Danielle Ferguson, David Ferguson Jr., Chris Ferguson, Taryn Collins and numerous great grandchildren. Honoring Carl as pallbearers will be Jerald Wallace, David Ferguson Jr., Chris Ferguson, Chris Collins and James Patrick.
