Callie Durbin Hebert, 31, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026, from a tragic accident. Callie was born April 8, 1995, in Shreveport, La, the middle child of Brad and Missy Durbin. Callie graduated from Benton High School in 2013.
Callie’s love for horses began at 5 years old, when she was old enough to walk down the hill to her Grannie’s, where she would spend time with Ol’ Chester- the gentle horse every grandchild learned to ride on. Over the next 25 years, Callie continued to ride horses, competing throughout her middle school and high school years. Eventually, Callie began producing events with her Grannie as 2Hearts Barrel Racing with competitors travelling across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas to attend her events. Callie has been recognized by numerous organizations and associations as a producer. She will be posthumously awarded Producer of the Year at the Arkansas Elite Barrel Racing finals in Texarkana, Tx on May 31, 2026.
Callie was a role model and mentor to numerous riders within the barrel racing community. Callie had a love for all riders, but especially the younger generation, just starting out in the sport. Callie could be seen in the arena helping all “her kids.” There was never a run, or a video, that you could not hear Callie cheering us all on.
Callie met the love of her life, Matt Hebert, in January 2017; they were married in February of 2020. Matt and Callie shared a love for outdoor sports. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mud riding together, later passing those passions on to their children, Haven and Henry. Callie also passed her love of horses onto her children, dragging Matt along for the ride.
Callie worked as an office manager for LifeLine Plus for 10 years. She worked diligently to staff local hospitals.
Callie was known for her vibrant personality and was fiercely loyal to those that she loved. Underneath her fiery exterior, she truly wore her heart on her sleeve and was always willing to help anyone in any way.
Callie is survived by her husband, Matt Hebert; daughter, Haven Blayke and son, Henry Lawrence; parents, Brad and Missy Durbin; in-laws, Johnathan and Stacy Dinkins; grandparents, Sam and Helen Bozeman; grandmother, Martha Reyenga; grandfather, Bill Moore; sister, Courtney and husband, Justin Rich; brother, Cody Durbin and wife, Breanna; sister-in-law, Maddison Dinkins; aunts, Mary Bounds, Clara Reyenga, Prissy Wilks and husband, Scott, Winde Chambers, and Lisa Durbin; cousins, Devin, Taylor, Caroline, George, and Ava; nieces, Ellie and Ivey; along with numerous extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Denny Durbin; great-grandparents, Stewart and Louise Moore; great-grandfather, J.B. Booker; great-grandmother, Rona Peace; uncles, Ernest Peace, Ardis Peace, Marion Dale Peace, Henry Bounds, Jerry Booker, and George Chambers IV.
