A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Brooks Reid Glover, 23, will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana.

Brooks was born September 14, 1999, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jill Kathryn Glover, and passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Brooks was blessed with a caring and concerned heart for his friends and family as well as animals, including his own menagerie of pets throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing with family as well as his involvement with karate and the Boy Scouts of America. Brooks will be missed by those who cherished his life and who will forever hold his memory.

Brooks was predeceased by, and now joins his loving and devoted grandfather, James A. Van Hook, Jr. (“Dear”); and great aunt, Sharon K. Brickle.

He is survived by his mother, Jill Kathryn Glover; grandmother, Sue Van Hook; grandparents, Charles and Julie Glover; aunt and uncle, Jann and Stephen Logan and their children, Taylor Logan and Emily Logan; great aunt, Kathleen Haaga and husband, Carly; uncle, Aric Caelestra and spouse, Shane; uncle, James Van Hook III and wife, Catherine and their children, James and Olivia; uncle, Alec Van Hook and wife, Tricia and their children, Kate and John; cousin, Dane Haaga and wife, Rebecca and their children, Charlie, Caroline, Haley, and Kaylin; cousin, Kristie Eck and daughter, Addison; aunt, Erin Irvine and husband, Ross and their children, Will, Catherine, and Matthew; aunt, Morgan Hughes and husband, Mike and their children, Matty, Ian, and Tyler; cousin, Joshua Brickle and wife, Sharon and their son, Cayden; great aunt, Laura Kallemeyn and husband, Norm; special aunt, Bonnie Raburn; Mary Whitehead; Ronnie Harris; cousins, Titan Harris and Gage Harris; and girlfriend, Kayla Sorrell and her son, Brayson.
