Brian Edward Holman

A graveside service for Brian Edward Holman, 44, will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Howard Hall of Shreveport Baptist Temple. Brian was born on January 11, 1978 to Tommy and Marsha Holman in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 in Ferriday, Louisiana. Brian was a resident of Shreveport. He graduated from Southwood High School in 1996 and attended LSUS and Southern University. He was a very talented artist that loved to paint and draw. He really enjoyed astronomy and knew all the constellations. Brian was a good son, brother, and friend. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. One of Brian's greatest accomplishments was spreading the Word of God by witnessing to people. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy E. Holman; son, Tristin D. Holman; and nephew, Kasen R. Holman. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Marsha Holman; brothers, Robby Holman, Gary Holman and wife, Melissa; and one nephew and four nieces. Honoring Brian as pallbearers will be Josh Beaird, James Hall, Gene Ramsey, Matt Ramsey, Jeff Hall, Ronnie Norwood. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his brothers, Robby and Gary Holman.
