Brenda Joyce Kennedy

Memorial services for Brenda Joyce Kennedy, 76, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. McKee Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Brenda was born January 24, 1942 in Minden, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2018 in Bossier City, LA. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, TL and Mavor Johnston; husband, William Kennedy; and brothers, Tommy Ray Johnston and Marvin Johnston. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brant Kennedy and Scott Kennedy and wife Kathy; sister, Edith Huff; brothers, Steven Johnston, Ronnie Johnston, and Donnie Johnston; grandchildren, Dr. Jeffrey Kennedy, Tommy Ray Kennedy, Taylor Kennedy, and Justin Kennedy; great-grandchild, Jaxon Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews.
