A mass of Christian burial for Brandy Nicole Rivers, 47, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 307 Hammond St, Zwolle, Louisiana on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Joseph Maddala.
Brandy was born on Tuesday, January 30, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at her home in Zwolle, Louisiana. Her struggles on Earth are over.
Brandy was a proud mother to 3 of her greatest blessings in this life: one son, Braylon Ezernack and two daughters, Celena Rivers and Naja Cole, all of Zwolle, Louisiana. She also leaves behind to mourn: her parents, Robin and Debbie Rivers and Alton “Hootie” Spurlock, all of Zwolle, Louisiana; brothers, Brandon “Papa” (Jillian) Rivers and Richard Damon Rivers, all of Noble, Louisiana; sister, Stephanie (Dean) Johnson of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana; her life partner, Ronnie Cole; godparents, Earl Pearce and Faye Torres; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Cora Lopez, Carson and Elaine Rivers, and Ray and Gracie Spurlock.
A 1998 graduate of Ebarb High School, Brandy remained in contact with some of her classmates. She was known for being a friend for life, her kind heart, and her deep faith. Pink and purple were her favorite colors.
Honoring Brandy as pallbearers will be Clint Rivers, Jameson Spurlock , Ethan Johnson, James “Coffee” Meshell, Courtney Paul Procell, and Jacob Ezernack. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Tristan Spurlock, Ronnie Remedies, and “Little” Dale Spurlock.
Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
