BOSSIER CITY, LA - A Funeral Service Celebrating the Life of Bradley Lane Baker, 14, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Father Paul D. Martin and Father Sean Duncan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA. Bradley was born September 22, 2003, in Ft. Worth, TX to Christina Slette and Waylon Edward Baker and went to be with his Lord and Savior September 2, 2018. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where he enjoyed his time as a member of the Childrens Choir. Bradley was excited about his freshman year as a Parkway Panther and looking forward to being a member of the Jr. ROTC. Bradley loved music, movies and animals. He was always bringing strays home wanting to keep them. Collecting movie posters had become a passion for him and he routinely persuaded various family members to stop by each theater to see what they had available. His recent favorite music artist was Ariana Grande He loved his music. Bradley preferred flip-flops over shoes always. He loved to go swimming with his mom and adored being outside at every opportunity. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Christina Marie Slette; father, Waylon Edward Baker; grandparents, Patricia Frances Taliaferro and Robert Erwin Wilson; great-grandmother, Patricia Ann Taliaferro; uncles, James (Jim) Govan Taliaferro and wife Janet and Richard William Taliaferro; aunt, Claire Taliaferro; cousins, Sarah Kate Taliaferro, Anthony Richard Taliaferro and Christopher Raymond Taliaferro. Honoring Bradley as pallbearers will be James Taliaferro, Sarah Kate Taliaferro, Robert Wilson, Anthony Taliaferro, Raymond Taliaferro and Waylon Baker. The family would like to give their sincere appreciation to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office.
