Bonnie Brewer

Funeral services honoring Mrs. Bonnie Jimmerson Brewer will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia with Bro. Bobby White officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The burial will follow at Union Cemetery.

Bonnie was born on June 24, 1938, in Arcadia, Louisiana to Lester Glenn Jimmerson and Glennie Anderson Jimmerson. She entered into rest on May 10, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Bonnie grew up in the Union Community with her siblings Glendon and Tommy and also raised her own family there. She worked for many years as a teacher’s aide for the Bienville Parish School Board and as well as working the voting polls in the Union Community. She was a devoted member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Bonnie was a kindhearted person and loved to laugh. She enjoyed going out on Friday nights to Catfish Inn and catching up with everyone and always had a smile to share. Bonnie loved her two children dearly but adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her greatest joy in life and loved hearing about everything from their daily life to their accomplishments, and she was not shy about bragging about them. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a good friend.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Glennie Jimmerson, her husband Claude Brewer, Sr., brother Tommy Lee Jimmerson, and stepdaughter Donna Brewer Kelly.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Sheryl Humphrey and husband Terry, son Harold Carr and wife Sue, grandchildren Carla, Toby, Tana, Joey, and Brandon, sister Glendon Kirkham, by 20 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and numerous other loving family and many friends.

Honoring Bonnie as pallbearers will be Joey Carr, Grant Carr, Brandon Williams, Toby Gianes, Chance Whitlock, and Toby Coile. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Toland and Johnny Williams.
