Bobbye Marie Gilbert

SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Bobbye Marie Gilbert, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Bobbye was born on July 20, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Everett and Bessie Sivage, and passed away on October 16, 2016. Bobbye was a very gracious, loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. Preceding Bobbye in death were her parents, brother, Leon Sivage, and a sister, Sue Honea. Those left to cherish her memory are he husband of 56 years, Owen Gilbert; sons, Mike and wife, Laura, and Steve and his wife, Deloris; one daughter, Kim and her husband, Donnie Blankenship; grandchildren, Derek, Daniel, Adam and Jacob Gilbert, Breanna Gilbert, Savannah and Sara Blankenship; brothers, Don, L.C. and L.D. Sivage; sisters, Louise Baldwin and Bettye Wyatt; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
