An inurnment service was held for Bobby Williamson, age 64, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in Tulip Cemetery, Marsalis, LA, the service was officiated by his son, Rodney Williamson. A Last Ride from Calvary Baptist Church of Homer started at 10:30 a.m. went to the cemetery for anyone who wanted to participate. A visitation was held, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 405 East 5^th Street, Homer, LA, for family and friends on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 5-7 p.m.

Bobby was born September 23, 1959, in Picayune, MS, to Tom and Linda Wallace Williamson. He entered into rest on March 7, 2024, at his home in Homer, LA. Bobby was a skilled carpenter of twenty plus years that loved the outdoors, a beloved motorcyclist, that enjoyed rides with good friends and good scenery. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sonja Harmon Williamson; and three brothers, Hank Williamson, Earnest Williamson and James Williamson.

He is survived by his son, Rodney Williamson of Homer, LA; mother of his son, Carol Smith of Homer, LA; three brothers, Tommy Williamson of Homer, Jeffrey Williamson and Cecil Williamson both of Carriere, MS; two grandchildren, Aaron Williamson and Caroline Williamson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bobby’s family would like to express their gratitude to Tii and Lee Boone, Jamie and Nicole White, and St. Joseph Hospice and their staff for the care and compassion shown him during his final days.

In lieu of flowers honoring Bobby, his family suggests memorials be made to donor’s choice.
