Bobby Wayne Adams

Bobby Wayne Adams of Keatchie, Louisiana was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on March 29, 1942, to the parents of Joe and Audrey Adams. He was the first born of four sons, Bobby, Daymon, Dennis, and Buster Adams, who proceeded him in death. As a young boy, it became evident that God gifted him with a beautiful singing voice and the ability to play the piano and any instrument by ear. It would be a talent that would define every aspect of his life and bless countless others through the years through his service in the music ministry and through gospel concerts around the ArkLaTex. Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Ann Ellenburg (Adams) on August 17, 1962, and together they were blessed with three loving children, Amanda (Georgia), Amy (Keatchie), and Boots (Baton Rouge). Bobby was a builder by trade, but his greatest passions in life were his wife, his three kids, and serving the Lord through music and ministry. He loved to laugh and love and laughter created the perfect atmosphere for the music and singing that could always be heard in his home. Although the love he had for his precious wife was of utmost priority in his life, his greatest love story unfolded in his love for Jesus, his Savior. Until his dying breath, his heart and message was for people to accept and know Jesus as their Lord, their Savior, and their God. Bobby wore many hats in this life, among which were Son, Husband, Friend, and Christian. But to the family who loved him and are left behind until they reunite with him in heaven, he was known as a Leader, a Sweetheart, a Counselor, a Protector, a Warrior, and a Daddy with a big heart that was as selfless as it was strong. He was a larger than life kind of man who loved fiercely and unconditionally, and he leaves a legacy of love and faithfulness to all those that were blessed to know and love him. His extra special blessings included his 6 grandchildren: Misty Aultman (Jake Pfeifer); Matt Aultman (Sara Aultman); Jacob Talley; Eric Talley (Anna Talley); Bryce Adams; Baylee Adams. This 7 great-grandchildren: Ava Grace, Rayne, Everly, Paxton, Grayson, Roman, and Adams will miss him greatly. Honorary Pall Bearers are: Jeff Aultman, Jeff Talley, Matthew Aultman, Jacob Talley, Eric, Talley, Bryce Adams, Jake Pfeifer, and Mark McGee. There is no doubt that Bobby is in heaven with the One whom he loved the most surrounded by his father, mother, and brother... and most likely, he is a leader in the heavenly chorus and singing loudly with the angels. A memorial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude Hospital, a charity he loved. The family thanks you for the outpouring of love and support during this season of grief but wants you to know that the silver lining of joy is in the knowledge that this world was always his temporary home and he is now in the arms of His Father, the King.
