Bobby Joe Rosett

Funeral services for Bobby Rosett, 73, will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Harris Chapel Cemetery at 3405 FM 161 South, Hughes Springs, Texas.  A visitation will be held Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath.   Officiating the service will be Senior Pastor Dr. Scott Teutsch.

Bobby was born on November 24, 1950 to Homer Joe and Claudine Rosett in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Bobby was a long-time member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church, where he was recently commissioned as Deacon Emeritus and was a Bible Study Teacher for Don Duggan Memorial Men’s class for 32 years.  He was a long-time member of the North Shreveport Lions Club, President of Rosett and Motes Inc. as well as owning and operating Golf ETC Bossier City for 16 years.

He was dedicated to coaching his kid’s youth sports for many years.  He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and loved cheering on his bulldogs.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia Rosett Lowe and brother-in-law, Rex Lynn Lowe.  He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jones Rosett of 48 years; son, John Patrick Rosett; daughter, Stephanie Rosett Statham and husband, Cody; granddaughters, Landrie Rose Statham and Leah Ellis Statham; brother, John Ronald Rosett and wife Jeannie; numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Percy Ashley, Ricky Couch, Robert Dempsey, John Good, Jr., Kenny Hawthorne, Nick Hodge, Roger Johnson, Gary Moore, Jeff Morrison, Wes Pixley and Johnny Whittington.   Honorary pallbearers will be Don Duggan Memorial Men’s Bible Study.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to Trinity Heights Baptist Church 3820 Old Mooringsport Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana 71107; North Shreveport Lions Club 1434 Hawn Ave. , Shreveport, Louisiana 71107 or a charity of your choice.
