Bobby Gene Tackett

Bobby Tackett, age 82, passed away February 26, 2022 at his residence in Stonewall, Louisiana. He was born August 26, 1939 in Bevinsville, Kentucky, a son of the late Alfred and Anna Hall Tackett and the husband of the late Edna Willia Dane Cox Tackett. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Howard Hall. Bobby owned and operated Tackett's Tree Service here in the Shreveport area for well over 50 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and vegetable gardener. Survivors include, son, Robert Lee Tackett and daughters, Anita Rose Tackett and Serina Kay Tucker, all of Stonewall, Louisiana; sister, Linda (Dick) Lindaas of Huntington, Indiana; grandchildren, Nisa Marsh, Joy Sepulvado, David (Wendy) Eberli, Bobby Tackett, James (Kristi) Tacket, and Steven (Chera) Tackett; great-grandchildren, Nicholas (Megan) Barajas, Madeline Tucker, Donovan Sepulvado, Shianne Sepulvado, Steven Sepulvado, Sierra Sepulvado, Matthew Marsh, Christian Marsh, Caleb Marsh, James Tackett, Haley Tackett, Christian Tackett, AnnaBell Tackett, Keyara Eberli and Commander Eberli; great-great-grandson, Izekiel Spencer; as well as numerous other family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Cindy Tackett; son, Steven Leon Tackett; daughter-in-law, Lisa Byrd Tackett; grandson, Dakota Gene Eberli; brothers, Charles "Buster" Tackett, Allen Tackett, Billy Tackett, Danny Tackett, and Malcolm Tackett; sisters, Avene Copeland, Fannie Mygrant, Tommie Sue Haddock, Rose Runion, Betty Joyce Tackett, Mary Alice Tackett, Glenda Faye Tackett, Shelby Jean Tackett, and Burdine Tackett. Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Christian Marsh, Bobby Tackett, Jaime Tackett, Nicholas Barajas, David Eberli, and Allen Tackett, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steven Tackett, Bobby Williams, Joseph Madrigal, and Ronnie Gillum.
