Bobby Coffey

Bobby Walter Coffey has made his journey home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 8, 1944, in Hodge, Louisiana, and passed into eternity on November 24, 2025. Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, in Saline, LA. The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Officiating the service will be Bro. Harry Bamburg and Bro. Tommy Inman.

Bobby grew up in Saline, where he graduated from Saline High School. Around 1962 he moved to Shreveport, and after 14 years there he then moved to Longview, Texas, where he lived for over 40 years. Bobby decided to trade in the city life and moved back to Saline and enjoy the quiet country life where he had grown up.

Some of his hobbies included flying airplanes, sailing, scuba diving and traveling. He has traveled to 49 states and 20 countries, including Israel where he was baptized in the Jordan River.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bobbie Coffey of Saline. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his surviving family members; daughters, Paula Kline of Shreveport; Pamela Lormand and husband Bill of Elm Grove; sister, Deborah Rowell Bamburg and husband Harry of Coushatta; grandchildren, Alex Kline and wife Rissa of Haughton; Kristin Kline of Shreveport; Ashley Meyers and husband Chase of Frierson; Adam Stampley of Ft. Worth, Texas; great grandchildren, Jordyn Kline, Emma Kline, Arbor Meyers, Wrenley Meyers, Payton Meyers and Jace Meyer. He also leaves to cherish his memory, several nieces, nephews, and special friend, Kay McHugh.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alex Kline, Adam Stampley, Chase Meyers, Ryan Rowell, Shane Rowell, and Shawn Rowell. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Smith, Roger Blewer, and Jimmy Babers.
