Bobby Raimond Bennett

Mansfield, LA -- Graveside services honoring the life of Bobby Raimond Bennett, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Chucky Clark. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Bobby was born on June 27, 1934 in Converse, Louisiana to William Melvin Bennett and Lillie Pearl Raimond Bennett. He entered into rest on December 4, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Joyce Bennett; son, William "Billy" Franklin Bennett; sisters, Doris Haire and Ann Litton. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Becky Bennett Stephens and husband Bruce; brother, Jack Bennett; grandchildren, Brenda Gentry and Thomas "Ray" Stephens and wife Carmen; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Rose Gentry and Westin Blake Stephens; special niece, Bonnie Hunter; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Bruce Stephens, Thomas Stephens, Roger Golden, Don Parker, John Clemens, and Robert Shaver.
