A Celebration of Life was held for Bobbie Nicole Suzanna Hardaway, age 45, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1993 LA-3062, Homer, LA, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Steve Beard, officiated. Interment will be at Adkin Cemetery near Homer, LA. Visitation will be at the church from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.

Bobbie was born July 25, 1978, in Minden, LA, to Tony and Cindy Chandler Hardaway. She entered into rest on October 24, 2023, in Elm Grove, LA. When Bobbie was young, she was “Bossy” toward her cousins, of whom she loved dearly. Her faith in the Lord, guided her life and love for others. Even though there were tough times in Bobbie’s life, she was persistent and resilient. You never had to guess what she was thinking, because she would let you know. “Why do it the easy way, when you can do it the Hardaway,” was Bobbie’s motto in life. She loved big!  

She is preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Chandler Flow; and two sons, Hal Donavan Chance Locke and Gregory Tyler Payne Moak.

She is survived by her father, Tony Hardaway of Jasper, AR; son, Lansten Hice of AR; two daughters, Madison Lee and husband Tyler of Bernice, LA, and Alyssa Brown and husband Ryan of Guam; six sisters, Dustee Flow Jackson of Walker, MN, Krystal Hardaway, Haley Hardaway, Ashley Hardaway, Jewel Hardaway and Lauren Hardaway all of Jasper, AR; a granddaughter, Juniper Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bobbie’s family would like to express their gratitude to her cousin, Deanne Knighton for helping her family after her passing.

Pallbearers were Rory Bryant, Allen Gilbert, Craig Prestidge, Adam Richmond, Brandon James.

Honorary pallbearer was Cecilia Adkins Alvarado.
