Bobbie Raley Born

A private graveside service for Bobbie Raley Born, age 96 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Vivian, LA with Dr. Austin Green officiating.

Bobbie was born in Higginson, AR on June 19, 1929, to Troy David Raley and Lizzie Viola Martin and passed away from this life on February 11, 2026, at Vivian Healthcare. She retired from Piggly Wiggly, was the past president of the American Legion. Bobbie loved working in the garden, playing bingo, reading, doing circle work books and going to the boats.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; her bonus mom, Leola Hicks Raley; husband, John Lester Born; son, John Yeager Born; daughter, Carolyn Born Russum; great grandson, William Cody Moore; great granddaughter, Mika Moore; sons-in-law, William Freddy Moore and Kenny Russum. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Raley Pope, Barbara McManus, Mandy Etie and Shelia Raley Long and her brothers, Q. D. Colson, Carl Raley, Ronnie Raley and Billy Raley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lydia Stewart and husband Don, and Beverly Moore Stegall; grandchildren, Billy Moore, Michael Moore, Sarah Russum, Michelle Russum, Jeremiah Russum, Samatha Russum and Matt Stewart and wife Olevia and soon to be baby Stewart arriving this summer; great grandchildren, Noella Miles and husband, Jacob, Zoe Moore, Kaylee Moore Vargas, Trenton and Aiden Peterson, Christan and Abigail Klusman, Hayes and Skylar Russum, Kenley and Andi Russum and Jadelyn Moore; three wonderful great-great grandchildren, Eisley Moore and Hazel and Autumn Miles. She is also survived by her brother, Troy David Raley, Jr; sister, Brenda Raley Edwards and sister-in-law, Carolyn Colson.

Honoring Bobbie as pallbearers will be Matt Stewart, Harrison Bourne, Randy Born, Clayton DuBois, Don Stewart and Jacob Miles. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason DuBois and Tanton Stanford.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Huan Le, Dr P. V. Blanchard, Wanda Johnson, Bristol Hospice and Vivian Healthcare for all their love and compassion through the years.
