Billy James Riley

A graveside memorial service for Billy James Riley, 85, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Forest Park West with military honors. Billy was born on February 12, 1932 to Ruth Ann Patterson Riley and James Allen Riley in Naples, Texas and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2017. Billy was in the Navy during the Korean War, later he worked as a mail carrier for the post office and retired after 42 years. He was the best dad a daughter could ask for and will be greatly missed. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter, Miste Scarpinatto. Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Deborah Scarpinatto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's or M.S. Foundation. Special thanks to Heritage South and to Regional Hospice for the great care they gave my dad.
